When you mention the word Athlete and everything it means to be one, Brian “B-Hue” Houston is that and much more. Originally from Riverdale, GA, growing up Brian was extremely active in track, wrestling, and football. He thoroughly enjoyed the contact and team atmosphere of football, physicality of wrestling, and the athleticism of Track. He received awards in athletics including Decathlon Champion in 2000 and 2004, Javelin Champion in 2002 and 2004, and was named to and competed with the all state wrestling Team Georgia.
After graduating high school Brian attended Hampton University on a football scholarship. During his junior and senior season he was approached by several NFL scouts as a potential prospect, unfortunately slightly injured during his senior season, he relocated to Omaha, NE to play with the indoor football team the Omaha Beef. It was here where Brian began to train and compete in amateur Mixed Martial Arts and found his Athletic Passion. Since that time he has become a 2010 National Campion Thai Boxer, White Belt & Absolute Division Champion at Best of the Best, and become a major prospect in The Boxing World. Under the tutelage of Aaron Cerrone and Ed Shobe at Mid America Martial Arts, and with Grover Wiley of Mean Street Boxing has become a triple threat in the World of Combat Sports. Tentatively Brian plans on pursuing a professional MMA & Professional Boxing career in the FALL 2011. He definitely has a future at the Top of either sport and will be a household name.
